This website isn’t just about me—or even just about the two of us. It’s about a grace-filled journey that has spanned over 30 years, shared with my wife Mary Mbatia and a faithful team of dedicated ministers who have walked with us through the seasons. Together, we’ve served the body of Christ in pastoral ministry, teaching, discipleship, leadership development, media outreach, music ministry, and children’s ministry. This platform is a reflection of that shared vision—a ministry rooted in grace, enriched by experience, and strengthened through divine partnership.

My Calling

I’m Simon Mbatia, an Ambassador of Christ called to proclaim His gospel and establish His people in the truth of grace. Over the past three decades, I’ve served in various capacities including pastoral leadership, media outreach, biblical teaching, discipleship and training, and music ministry.

Currently, I serve as the Lead Pastor of Grace Fountain Church in Nairobi, Kenya. I’m also one of the Directors of Set Free Grace Bible College, where we equip believers with a strong foundation in the gospel of grace. I also serve on the leadership board of the Grace Ministers Alliance—a fellowship that unites grace-based churches across Kenya in sound doctrine and spiritual accountability.

None of this has been a solo journey. Mary, my wife, and our faithful ministry team have been co-laborers in every area of this work—dedicated, gifted, and driven by the same passion to make Christ known.

About Mary Mbatia

I’m Mary Mbatia, a passionate pastor with a strong, God-given calling to minister to people of all ages. I serve alongside my husband, Simon Mbatia, as a pastor at Grace Fountain Church, where we are committed to building up the Body of Christ through the gospel of grace.

Children’s ministry is a central part of my life and calling. For years, I’ve devoted myself to reaching the next generation with the truth of Christ. I’ve trained children’s ministers, authored practical, biblically sound teaching materials, and developed ministry approaches that focus on heart transformation—not just behavior change.

At the same time, my pastoral work extends beyond children. I’m a seasoned counselor and shepherd, walking with individuals and families through the highs and lows of life. Whether I’m teaching, counseling, or equipping others for ministry, my heart is to see lives transformed by the love and truth of Jesus.

I believe true discipleship begins in the heart—and by God’s grace, I’m committed to helping both children and adults discover who they are in Christ and walk in the fullness of His purpose.

Our Family

We’ve been married for about 20 years, and we are blessed with four amazing children—two girls and two boys—who bring joy and depth to our lives. Together, we live and serve in Nairobi, Kenya, where we continue to build, teach, and equip under the banner of God’s abundant grace.

Our Ministry Team

Our ministry team includes fellow pastors, worship leaders, teachers, facilitators, technical and media personnel, and administrative support. These co-laborers have stood with us faithfully, and this platform reflects not just our vision—but their tireless service and shared commitment to Christ.
