We Believe:

A confession of truth that sets us free—rooted in Christ, revealed by the Spirit, and anchored in Scripture.

1. The Bible – God’s Inspired Word

We believe the Holy Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are the divinely inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word of God. They are the revelation of God’s heart, His will, and His ways. The Bible reveals Jesus Christ—Logos—and through the Spirit, speaks life-giving Rhema to the believer. It is the final and absolute authority in all matters of faith, life, and doctrine.

📖 2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Hebrews 4:12

2. The Triune God

We believe in one eternal God, existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is holy in nature, perfect in love, and sovereign in authority. God is the source of grace and truth.

📖 Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14

3. Jesus Christ – The Fullness of God

We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man. Born of a virgin, He lived a sinless life, revealed the Father perfectly, died for our sins, rose from the dead, ascended into heaven, and will return in glory. In Him, the fullness of grace and truth dwells.

📖 John 1:14–18; Colossians 1:15–20; Hebrews 1:1–3

4. Creation and the Fall

We believe God created all things good, and man in His image. Through Adam’s disobedience, sin entered the world, bringing death, separation from God, and brokenness to creation. All humanity stands in need of redemption through Christ.

📖 Genesis 1–3; Romans 3:23; Romans 5:12–21

5. Salvation by Grace Through Faith

We believe salvation is a free gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ. It is not based on human effort, works, or religious observance. In Christ, we are justified, reconciled, and adopted into God’s family.

📖 Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 5:1–2; Titus 3:4–7

6. New Creation Identity

We believe the believer in Christ is a new creation—righteous, holy, accepted, and complete. We are no longer in Adam but in Christ, with a new heart and a new spirit. Our identity is defined by what Christ has done, not by our past or performance.

📖 2 Corinthians 5:17,21; Colossians 2:10; Galatians 2:20

7. The Holy Spirit and His Empowering Presence

We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer and is the believer’s Comforter, Teacher, and Guide. He empowers us to live a godly life and to serve effectively. The baptism in the Holy Spirit, as promised by the Lord Jesus, is a distinct experience that brings power for witness, gifts for service, and boldness in ministry.

📖 Acts 1:8; John 14:16–17; 1 Corinthians 12:4–11; Galatians 5:22–25

8. Marriage, Gender, and Family

We believe marriage is a sacred, lifelong covenant between one man and one woman. Gender is God-assigned and reflects His creative design. The family is God’s foundational institution for nurturing faith and building society.

📖 Genesis 1:27; Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4–6; Ephesians 5:31–33

9. The Sanctity of Life

We believe all human life is sacred and created in God’s image, from conception to natural death. Every person has inherent worth and purpose as designed by the Creator.

📖 Psalm 139:13–16; Jeremiah 1:5; Proverbs 31:8–9

10. The Church – Christ’s Body

We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, composed of all believers who are united in Him. The local church is a spiritual family where believers grow in grace, are equipped for ministry, and express the love of Christ in the world.

📖 Ephesians 1:22–23; 1 Corinthians 12:12–27; Acts 2:42–47

11. Church Government and Leadership

We believe in biblically qualified church leadership exercised by elders through the fivefold ministry. We affirm the plurality of leadership in the church, standing firmly against a corporate one-man-show model. True leadership flows through a collective of godly elders, not concentrated in a single individual. Leaders serve the Body by equipping the saints, stewarding God’s grace, and modeling Christ-like character.

📖 Ephesians 4:11–13; 1 Timothy 3:1–13; Titus 1:5–9

12. Ordinances: Baptism and Communion

We believe water baptism is an outward declaration of the believer’s union with Christ in His death and resurrection. The Lord’s Supper (Communion) is a continual proclamation of Jesus’ finished work and our union with Him and one another.

📖 Romans 6:3–5; Matthew 28:19; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26

13. The New Covenant

We believe that through Christ’s death and resurrection, God established a New Covenant with His people—a better covenant based on better promises. The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus is written on our hearts, and we are empowered by the Spirit, not external rules.

📖 Hebrews 8:6–13; Romans 6:14; 8:2 Ezekiel 36:26–27

14. Grace-Fueled Living

We believe grace does not promote passivity or lawlessness. Rather, grace is God’s empowering presence that teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and enables us to walk in holiness and fruitfulness.

📖 Titus 2:11–14; Romans 6:1–4; 2 Peter 1:3–9

15. Spiritual Warfare and Victory in Christ

We believe the believer is engaged in spiritual warfare against the kingdom of darkness. Christ has already won the victory, and we fight from a place of triumph. We overcome by truth, righteousness, faith, and the power of the Spirit.

📖 Ephesians 6:10–18; 2 Corinthians 10:3–5; Revelation 12:11

16. The Return of Christ

We believe in the imminent, bodily return of Jesus Christ. He will return as Judge and King to consummate His Kingdom, reward the righteous, and deal with all evil once and for all.

📖 Acts 1:11; Matthew 25:31–46; 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17

17. Final Judgment and Eternal Destiny

We believe that all will be raised and judged by Christ. The righteous in Christ will receive eternal life in the presence of God. Those who reject the gospel will face the second death—complete and irreversible destruction. We reject the doctrine of eternal conscious torment and affirm that the wicked will perish, not suffer forever.

📖 John 5:28–29; Matthew 10:28; 2 Thessalonians 1:9; Revelation 20:14–15

🕊️ This statement affirms our commitment to the gospel of grace, the authority of Scripture, the Lordship of Christ, and the work of the Holy Spirit in building up the Body and revealing the Kingdom. We proclaim it not as a fence to keep others out, but as a foundation to keep us grounded and growing—forward and upward in Christ.
